THAT'S RIGHT!!!!  According to Phil Penny, of  "The Antiques Road Show Insider", the silver spoons you use with your favorite cereal may have great value.  The article stated, that at least twice in the history of the Antiques Roadshow, guests brought  silver spoons that were old and valuable.  One was believed to be valued at $10,000.  Of course, we know that this would be very unusual for the majority of individuals, nevertheless, don't sell yourself short.

 

Look at those silver spoons and other items that you think are silver.  If the back or bottom of the item has the maker, old-looking symbols, or the word "sterling".  Take off running to your local professional appraiser.  Chances are the pieces may have enough value to help with your child's college tuition.
